Yarwun 2 Ship Unloader

In 2008/2009, Western Controls Pty Ltd designed and manufactured an MCC for a Ship Unloader. The design required a small footprint “back to back “ MCC to be built, small enough to be housed in the switchroom on the structure.

The finished product was a testament to the many variations of designing a switchboard using a Modular System style switchboard. The front of the board was all Motor Control modules and the rear housed all the marshalling and PLC equipment. It was a large scale project fitted into a small scale MCC.
